Burslem  Izaak Walton Angling Club, is a very well established club, founded circa 1890.
We've some fine stretches of the River Dove and the River Trent  totalling over 5 miles of prime river fishing, 4 stillwaters in rural Staffordshire, 3 miles of the Trent and Mersey canal and 2 miles of the leek arm of the caldon canal.

We have fishing to suit everyones tastes from good wild Brown Trout and Grayling to specimen Barbel, Chub and pike on the rivers. On the stillwaters we have access to a good variety of fishing from Gudgeon to Carp up to mid twenties, the canals are fantastic mixed fisheries, especially for predators.

Night fishing is allowed on all of our waters except the Dove at Rocester.

Unlike some clubs we don't  charge extra for a night permit.
